At Mountstribe Agritech, our journey began with a simple yet powerful vision: to revolutionize agriculture by merging sustainability, technology, and community empowerment. Nestled in the breathtaking Himalayan hills of Uttarakhand, we saw not only the beauty of the land but also the struggles of the local people — mass migration, water scarcity, and declining agriculture due to traditional farming challenges.

We knew we had to make a difference. Armed with a passion for innovation and a deep respect for nature, we set out to create an IoT-enabled cold-water aquaponics system. This system not only grows nutrient-rich produce like Himalayan rainbow trout, exotic leafy greens, and microgreens but also conserves 98% of water, reduces the carbon footprint, and ensures chemical-free, non-GMO food for a healthier planet.

Our mission extends beyond farming. We aim to reverse migration by creating employment opportunities and empowering local communities with skill development, ensuring that they don’t have to abandon their ancestral lands in search of a better life.
